As time went by, and mankind evolve into civilization, the search for God still continue. Man, who is designed to worship (or reverence) a higher being, evolved into having different beliefs about God and His sovereignty. Some believe God exist, some have their belief to be that He is dead and some believe He is the Universe. The latter believers are called pantheist. We will draw our subject from here.

Pantheism is the belief that the whole universe is God and that God and the universe are one in the same. God is the whole of all things, which include living things. The literal meaning of the word pantheism, derived from the Greek language means All is God.
Pantheist believe God to be the universe-limited to a set of natural laws, in other words, God is more, like a natural machine that Governs the systems, laws and principles around us.

But, I have come to realized that Man believes to the extent at which He is enlightened or knows. If you don’t know there is a God, you can believe Him. If you don’t know there is a virtue called trust, you can believe it.

The Upgrade

There was an upgrade in the work of the divinity on mankind from the scripture. The new covenant of grace that supersede the law and the prophet was the upgrade and this upgrade came through the Christ. And there was a man, Saul who had zeal for the things of God, but the zeal was on the older version of the work of divinity on mankind, the old covenant. And at some point, light came to him and he saw what the lord was doing, thereby understanding the upgrade and teaching it deeper than those who knew it earlier.
The pantheist only see to an extent so has to satisfies their quest for who the Supreme Being is, even with their natural minds. But the deep understanding of who God is has to be with a concentrated mind.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Genesis 1:16. If I will be permitted to paraphrase this, what this passage means is that, God made the sun, the moon and the universe. As the universe is the entirety of the stars, even though, the pantheist look at as God is the force of the universe.
God is bigger than the universe and He is never a force of the universe. The stars are under him, though He blesses His own with the stars, but He is God over everything. And I believe that in His sovereignty, he made a system for mankind that can keep working after He had created.
I also believe that the system He made, which is responsible for principles, law and balance of nature, is what the pantheist call the Universe. And this system is just to make things keep working after He rested after six days of creation. (see genesis 2:2) In other words, the Pantheists believe of who God is, is just His system and creation.

The creation of the Universe

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. – Hebrews 11:3

Here is what the scripture says about the creation of the universe compare to what the theories of cosmology says. The purpose for the biblical account of this creation is to teach and enlighten us that the Universe is not self-existent, but owes its origin to God. The ancient philosophical system of pantheism identifies God as part of the Universe which is actually a disorder of belief system.

Many Astronauts have concluded that God doesn’t, judging from their course of explorations. But God, being greater than the universe cannot be bounded with time and space as he dwells in eternity.
We have not exhausted the discovery of our world, earth, not to talk of our star, the solar system, how then can we conclude that He doesn’t exist when the totally of the Universe isn’t known.

Conclusion

Many praying to the Universe and getting resultant effect to their prayer, is just the effect of the system on them. Never refer the Universe to God, He is bigger and the creator of the Universe.
Things work out and balance itself naturally by the existence of the Universe, and the Universe works because there is a supreme being over the system.
