Soul Musings - Salvation's Birth

The evil of humanity transcended with great gravity, scattering its vile seeds through the winds of time that the sun's radiance could barely pierce through the thick darkness, reaching the stony hearts of the sons of men.
Light was but a myth to the generations of fallen humanity. Thirsty lost souls bound in the sepulchre of darkness, yearning for a bitter-sweet gulp from the streams of living waters. The death of mankind was so visible that you could literally touch! Numb to the prophecy of a saviour, the sons of men invented religion to reach out to God. The illuminance of bodily worship rather reflected filthy shades of grace. God was silent!
Centuries passed, till God's redemption plan was set into motion;
Leaving the devil with little notion.
The life to spread the light of life had to be born by one of the very lives that needed the light of life! Such an irony!
And so, God took up the flesh of humanity and manifested in the womb of a pious Jewish woman.
The journey of redemption began with an irony:
The irony of the pregnant-virgin
In whose womb lay the eternal sin offering.
Who ever thought that the king of Kings would be born in a manger? Such irony! Who ever thought that stars could become the GPS of sheperds, leading them the premise of the saviour? What strikes me isn't the gold, frankincense or myrrh they gave but the purest of worship they gave to the baby that lay in the manger. Flesh nor blood had not revealed the the lion from the tribe of Judah to them!
Herod’s evil determination
Couldn’t bring him out of the equation.
The Sadducee’s evolution
Made him no less a revolution.
And far I see, the Pharisees
Could hardly see his revelation
For they were lost in their religious rendition.
The Jews rejected him with accusations
Judas betrayed him with no gratification
Pilate sheepishly warranted his Crucifixion
And on the cross he finalized his mission.
The greatest mystery of history was set:
That life died for the sake of lives
To give life to the dead.
The beginning of the end!
And so then, God became man
So He could make men gods.
Be part of this celebration:
For He’s been given power over
the heavens and the earth.
That at the mention of the name Jesus,
Knees bow and tongues confess His deity.
By his stripes we are healed,
By his blood, we are saved
And whoever the son sets free
Is free indeed!
My good deeds couldn’t have made me righteous
His shameful death has made me precious.
The life that lived perfectly as planned
From the manger to the cross.
It is indeed, finished!
Lol...nice photo
Thanks boss. It's kinda an artistic primer to make the reader appreciate the piece's imagery and symbolism. Lol
