The power of the Risen Christ; Easter the birth of Christianity

Easter is the season of the glorious victory over death by Jesus Christ the son of God. About 2000 years ago, Jesus was accused by his own countrymen to the Roman authority for his crucifixion which the governor then, Centurion approved and Jesus was crucified but the aspect that Christians celebrate is the Resurrection from the dead on the third day after he was killed.

The bible stated in John 20:1-2 that on the first day of the week after the Passover feast, some women went to the tomb where Jesus was buried but saw that the stone has been removed from the entrance of the tomb. And these women reported to Jesus' disciples, which they confirmed to be true. Jesus later appeared to them and many others to fulfill the prophecy he told them before he was killed.

That resurrection power is still available to them that believe. Christians believe that He will come again on the last day as he has promised and only those that are his will rapture with him when he comes.
