Trusting (Poem)
Quietly, quietly, I sit and speak with You,
I listen for Your still small voice,
As I ask, “Lord, what should I do?”
Patiently, patiently, I wait for Your answer, Lord,
Expectantly, I open the Book,
And enjoy the pure treasure of Your Word.
Perfectly, perfectly, Your plan in Your timing unfolds,
I’m trusting in You and Your sovereign hand,
As my world in Your hands You hold.
Willingly, willingly, I follow Your lead, my King,
Whatever You tell me, I will do,
Your ways are best in all things.
