Every follower of Jesus is given a mission:
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Holy Spirit can only live in us if we surrender our life to Jesus as our Lord and Saviour by the confession of the mouth and believing in our heart!
Ask God today to help you to open up to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. Tell Him you want to receive all the power he offers, not just so you can be transformed but so you can be a person he uses to transform the lives of others. Without God’s power, there will be no peace. With it, nothing is impossible for those who love him.
LORD, I want to receive everything you have for me. Please fill me with your Spirit. Guide me and use me in a way that brings glory to your name, I pray. Amen

People don't receive power from the Holy Spirit today like the apostles did after Pentecost. We're sealed by the Holy Spirit after we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and reveals biblical truth to us as we study the Bible. At times the Holy Spirit guides us directly but few people experience that on a regular basis. I believe that the Holy Spirit uses us more and more as we grow in obedience and righteousness.
