Well, so much depends on the situation around you. In life, knowing when to fight, when to walk away and when to run is one of the greatest gift you can.

There are times when you choose to endure and walk away, and there are times you will give your all to fight back but personally, I don't believe in martyrdom so I'm definitely not going to fight back when the odds are against me.

If you got a slap on the right cheek. First question isn't why you were slapped, the first question is who did slapped you. The place of the individual you are going up against is often times higher than the reason for the fight. Now when you identify who did it, you now consider why. Because whatever you do next is going to be a lesson to others on how you want to be treated.

So, you see? A lot comes in when you are choosing whether to fight back or not. If you are clear that you were unjustly slapped and you are good enough against whoever did it, next you decide the lesson to follow.

If you must decide to fight back, there are still a few more things to consider. It's not a good idea to win a battle and lose the war. If you fight him back now, will you be ready to face him when he returns with his allies? Then kick him back in the ass not so much because of what he did to you, but because you want others to learn the lesson.

But also there are times you must choose to appear weaker than you are because you want to give your opponent a false appearance so he can attack you with the weakest weapon in his arsenal. Underestimation is something you should always use to your advantage.

So back to your question, yes I could let him slap the other cheek if I know I won't win a war against him. While at the same time waiting for the right moment to give him hell that he deserve.
