Today is palm Sunday friends and I just want to discuss a bit about what we are celebrating and why.

In the Christian calendar, 🌴 Sunday is the Sunday before Easter, during the Holy Week.

In the Bible, (MARK11:11) Jesus sent his disciples to go loosen an ass from where it was tied and if those that were there challenged them, they should say "the Lord had need for it".

And when they got there, the events transpired exactly as he had predicted it, showing the Greatness and Power of our LORD AND KING 👑 .
JOHN 12:13
JESUS, on entering the city of Jerusalem, riding upon the young ass , was greeted and praised by his followers who shouted "Hosanna" and layed down branches of palm trees in his path. This was done in fulfillment of the scriptures and in spiritual recognition that he alone is the one true king 👑.

In the Roman Catholic and Protestant churches, ceremonies of the day include blessings and distribution of crosses made from palm leaves/branches , accompanied by the recitation of one of the three synoptic accounts of the Passion. Many wear crosses made of the palm, also alot of reflection is done here to how JESUS had a triumphant entry into Jerusalem and how we are to always remember to adore, love, praise and worship him because :

• He alone is king,
• He alone is GOD and he alone is worthy of all adoration.
  He came from his kingdom in heaven, to be beaten for you and died for you.

He is my Savior, lover , friend and GOD, now and forever more, and should be yours too.
