Church Vs State

Separation of Church and State is an American concept, not a Biblical concept.

The Kingdom of Heaven is a Country with a Government.
Isaiah 9:6 states the Government will be on His shoulders.

The greek word for Church is Ecclesia which means "The called out ones".

Ecclesia is not a religious word, but it is the word Jesus used to describe his Church. Matthew 16:18-19

To truly understand a word you have to understand the etymology or origin of the word.

Ecclesia originally came from Greece in the year 480 BC. The word was used to define the principal assembly of the government in Athens Greece.
The Ecclesia was the governing body open to all male citizens over the age of 18. The body was responsible for declaing war, military strategy and electing officials. The Ecclesia was generally made up of 6000 citizens and would meet 3-4 times a month to vote on decrees and treaties, law proposals and elect magistrates. In essence this group of people was a civil or governmental body convened to legislate affairs that pertained to the nation.

Again Jesus used this word to describe what he wanted His Church to do.

Are we complying with what He wanted?

IN ESSENCE, THE CHURCH IS THE STATE !

If the Body of Christ truly understood what Ecclesia meant, they would understand that they "Are" the Church, the Ecclesia, the called out ones.

Called into the system or government of God-a government under the full reign, power and authority of Jesus Himself.

We cannot get into the Kingdom unless we go to the Cross, but we cannot stay at the cross because you keep seeing Him as a lamb and you will never be able to rule and reign.

The only way you can rule and reign is to move from the cross and see Him with the crown and the scepter as King of Kings.

Thank you. And I did follow you.
Blessings to you!!!

Very interesting. I upvoted you because you are touching a subject near and dear to my heart. We have a lot to discuss. We are the ekklesia, called out assembly unto Christ as King of kings. The Kingdom denotes government--King's-dominion where we are His citizens, a nation within a nation, a people from Christ's jurisdiction influencing with His nature/character the world (cosmos-constitutional order). New creation ambassadorship with the message of reconciliation, may we represent well. 2 Cor. 5:17-20. In the world but NOT OF IT. Jn. 17:13-19

Look forward to it!!
Blessings to you!!!

Hello kingdomman,

I would be interested to hear what you have to say about Jesus' statement that his kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36).

Kingdom is a territotry which is defined as geography that they occupy, God's Kingdom occupies spiritual rather than physical geography. One thing important to understand is Biblically the Earth and the World are not the same, The Hebrew word for earth is Tera which means the physical earth and the word for World is Kosmos which means governing systems.
