Bible Text: Acts. 6:5-8
And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full
of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and
Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:Whom they set before
the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them. And the
word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem
greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. And
Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the
people.

Introduction

Apart from the fact that Stephen was the first on the list of the seven names selected to
serve tables, the bible states that he was full of faith and the Holy Ghost. It is important
to highlight that after the list of the seven names was drawn, the bible doesn't mention
any of the other disciples again apart from Stephen and Philip whose name was the
second on the list.There must have been something special about these two men that
singled them out. I pray that the Lord will release an unprecedented favour upon your
life that will make you stand out in Jesus Name. Our text states that Stephen did great
wonders and miracles, which made him stand out amongst the people. The bible
classified the wonders and miracles as 'great'; this means that the miracles and
wonders were extraordinary. This further corroborates prayer 4 because you don't
need to be a pastor or a church leader to perform great wonders and miracles.I believe
these great miracles are more relevant in the secular world, which is where most of us
work. This is important as it brings us in contact with the world and systems of the
world. It is also important to stress that great signs and wonders do not have to always
be in form of a healing or deliverance, but can be in form of superior value created on
your job and business, especially in the time of recession and downturn, thus creating
a platform for the advertisement of God's power.Have you been selected for a job or an
appointment that is beyond your capacity and you feel inadequate to deliver on your
goals and objectives? God will release an anointing that will make you perform great
signs and wonders in Jesus name. Are you at a place where you are being victimized
by your boss for no just reason and in a bid to punish you, you are transferred to
another department with the hope that you will fail and be sacked eventually? I declare
God will release a supernatural ability upon you that will make you outperform and
deliver great wonders and miracles in the form of superior value beyond everyone's
imagination in Jesus name. Have you been selected for an appointment or specific
assignment alongside other people of the same qualification? I declare God shall
release upon you the anointing to outperform your contemporaries in Jesus name.Are
you running a similar business as some of your associates? I declare God will release
an anointing upon you that will make your business deliver great results and
outperform your competitors in Jesus name

Prayer

Father, I ask that YOU release an anointing upon me that will make my hand produce
great miracles and wonders to outperform my contemporaries in order to make me
stand out in Jesus name. Father, I ask that YOU release an anointing upon me that
will make my business deliver great results and outperform my competitors, despite
the recession and economic downturn, in Jesus name.
