Good afternoon steemians! I just want to share the message I've heard today from attending church service. The message was taken from the book of Numbers, here is what it says,

Numbers 21:4-9 (KJV)

And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.
And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

"Until you learn to be grateful, you will learn to be victorious" is the main message of today's mass.

Istraelites are the people of God whom Moses gather to leave the land of Egypt. These people were became slaves in this land and Egyptians were cruel to each one of them. As they were walking by the Red Sea, they have God with them but God did not give any evidence of them as they were walking.

The Istraelites people complained and they blame Moses of the difficulties they had encountered in there walk through the Red Sea. They spoke against God and they spoke against Moses too.

They did not realized that whatever they have now is better from what they have from where they came from.

And God was angry because of disrespecting attitudes His people had shown. So He sent out serpent and many died after being bitten. The Istraelites had realized that they sinned against God from complaining. So they asked forgiveness.

Use your mouth not to backbite people nor to complain about the things you have but use it to shout out unto the Lord , to call out for help for these things you have. Because God wants you to always call for Him.

People were bitten but they never died. Moses prayed to God for people who has talking about Him. And God answered Him.

The bigger person is always to forgive, and create opportunities to make come back.

You've been bitten but refuse to be bitten.

These are the people that commit mistakes but refuse to turn back instead stayed to be strong.

God sent out serpent brass that if people will be bitten by serpent, they will be healed by just looking at the serpent brass.

Bitten by serpent and they got healed by a serpent.
Serpent is a symbol of discouragement, pain, insecurities or anything associated as not good but God uses these hard things in life to heal you from being hurt. He will use these things to change your output and outlook in life.

It takes faith to be bitten by serpent and yet looked to the serpent to be healed.

Change your outlook.
Change your perceptions.
Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
