one of your tags is cognitive-dissonance - it seems the moment we talk about anything real (most married people will attest to this) the dissonance is there. So, some couples don't talk - some people refuse to discuss religion. But a respectful discussion is non-threatening and enriching. You may have stirred the depths, creatr :)

I think it perhaps the chief reason why God admonishes us not to neglect gathering in groups as believers. We need such communication desperately to shake us out of our ruts!
