In context, God is for us and no one can be against us... under specific conditions. This only applies if you are conforming to the image of His Son: predestined, called, justified and glorified. Romans 8:29-30
Everyone is predestined (John 3:17), but...
few are chosen (Matthew 22:14) because...
Only doers of the law are justified (Romans 2:13), and...
Only those who suffer for His sake are glorified (Romans 8:17)
