THE CULTURE OF ROYALTIES

in #christianity7 years ago

I want to talk about something so dynamic, something that deals with the aristocratic dynastic which you and i belong. The book of proverbs really talk about the culture and ethics of kings. A Kings' ethics, moderate and govern all aspect of his life. The book of revelations 1:6 says "And hath been made kings and priest unto God and his father... (KJV)" we are not meant to live like slaves of which we are not, we are suppose to radiate the glory of the father in us; we are meant to live like kings, queens, princes and princesses not slaves.

As kings we are meant to do certain things; the book of proverbs 16:10-13 talks about the righteous judgement of kings and the fact that kings ought not to tell lies. As royal dynasties in Christ we ought to know that a kings throne is founded in righteousness (proverb 16:12).

Kings ought not to steal from people (Ephesians 4:28). Stealing staggers the stability of the kingdom of God. kings ought not to commit abominations or walk in untruthful ways (2 Corinthians 4:1-2). A king is passionate bout justice.

Kings are people of integrity, they are not friends with people who tell lies rather they are passionate about the truth (proverbs 20:26-28; Psalms 1:1). Kings do not go back on their words, as a king let our YES be YES and our NO be NO. A king should not be found among dishonest people, he should not show partiality; he should not be partial because of bribe (proverbs 29:4 NKJV)

Kings do not praise God quietly, when they sing to the King of Kings, they do it aloud (Psalms 95:1-2). You are a king in your environment, your family, among friends and all

Do not also forget that as a king, we have the king of kings who is Jesus Christ reigning over us. You are going to account to him about how you managed your kingdom
