I believe that we constantly chat with God is a good way to maintain a good relationship with God. Even if God does not give when we ask, he may have a better plan or the thing we ask may do more harm than good. God knows what is good for us as he is our Abba father. Thanks for the reminder of asking God and keeping a good relationship with God!
I struggle daily honestly.
Scripture goes on to say in that passage:
.... 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
