Let's Read Poetry # 21: The Peace of The Lord

That gleam of light that surprises
God's servant while he prays
Is the Almighty arising
And bearing healing in His wings:
When the comforts of this world vanish,
He allows the weary soul
Experience the clear shinning of His light
Which lifts every troubled soul.
We zealously seek
After considering
The benefit of being saved by Christ.
His grace is ever new
It burns away sorrows and sadness
Till His light is let into our hearts.
Only then cay we say
We boldly look forward to many tomorrows
For the Lord has got our backs. He will surely deliver us
From tribulations which the day brings.
He who clothes the lilies will also clothe His people too.
All creatures under His heavens are fed
He will surely feed us
As He feeds the ravens of the air.
His praises shall ever resonate through all the ages.
