Passion is a strong desire, an intense or strong feeling. It is a yearning for the glory of Christ to be manifested, not only in your life but in the lives of others.

Passion is a compelling motive or belief for action.

So to be passionate for something is the longing of the soul for that thing. It is a craving, setting your mind and your heart on that thing.
In order for you to always be passionate, you must know the reason for which you are here, the reason for which you were called, the reason for which you were chosen, you must understand your purpose. The answer is in 1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a special) people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the Excellencies (the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections) of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”.

You must be passionate firstly about the one who called you.
Jesus was the best example of a passionate leader. The first thing is that He knew His calling. He said it Himself in John 10:10.
In John 4:34 “Jesus saith unto them, my meat is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work". He showed us that His daily food was doing God’s work. Showing us that He was passionate about his calling. It means that we must be determined no matter the circumstances, no matter how we feel, because the time is now.
David, one of the greatest psalmists in the Old Testament was passionate in his worship & service to God.
Psalms 42:1 “As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after you, o God". David compared his passion to God with a deer drinking water.
In order to increase your passion, you must always recreate yourself.

To Recreate means to give new life to something; to update or renew something; to tap into the latest version of you, being your best every time.

Now, how do you recreate yourself?

By getting accurate knowledge & meditation of God’s Word

Because “To know Him is to love Him, & to love Him is to serve Him, & to serve Him is to please Him” (Rev Dr. Chris Oyakhilome).

Many artists who know the Word of God accurately are the ones who are shaking the world. Some others have written and sang songs & after a very short time couldn’t stay relevant, because their knowledge was not accurate.
Proverbs 24:3-4 “Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts”

By Fellowship with the Holy Spirit through prayer (mostly speaking in tongues & Singing).

By Fellowshipping with the right people, people that motivate and inspire you.

Through these, you can reach into the depths of your spirit and bring out the deposits of God in you which are now manifested in the songs you sing, in your creativity, ideas, etc.

Deep calleth unto deep (Psalm 42:7) “Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me".
John 7:38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water".
You discover yourself by discovering the deposits of God in your spirit.
Prov 20:27 “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly”. THIS IS THE TIME OF ABUNDANCE OF KNOWLEDGE.

Proof of your passion is in the words you speak and the way you talk about things you are concerned about, how you relate with mentoring or coaching, your willingness to improve yourself in your area of service, sticking/adhering to your vision.
(John 2:17) “…the zeal of your house has eaten me up”.
A man with passion cannot be stopped, cannot be killed, and cannot be limited!

Look at Paul, Paul was a passionate minister. When you are passionate about something, death or the things of this world do not matter to you.
Another proof that you are passionate is when you understand that you are living for God; not God living for you.

In Conclusion, why should you recreate yourself?

You should recreate yourself because the world is in need of the right people that would take them into God’s plan for their lives. You should recreate yourself because you are the light of the world; The world is in need of healing, in need of solutions to their problems. In other words they have to be brought out of darkness into light.
(Matthew 5:14,16 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
