The soldiers led Him away
The ultimate prize He was to pay
He bore the weight of the heavy cross
Christ could do anything just to save us

On the way, Simon was asked to aid
The soldiers must have made him afraid
Soaked in His blood, Christ must have cried out His eyes
All was for our ignorance, bribery, corruption and lies
