GRACE TO BEGIN WELL

TEXT : " If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? " Psalms 11 : 3

Glory! Hallelujah! It is another day of His grace and God is willing to shower more grace on you this day to move you higher; from glory to glory. He said in His word, " But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. " Proverbs 4:18. " The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former. ....." Haggi 2 : 9. Your today therefore should be better than your yesterday, by virtue of this grace to begin well. And today, we are commencing a forty - day fast to position us rightly for the year.
Determine in your heart to participate fully in it and set your priorities in order. When you handle the beginning of the year in the place of prayer, the rest of the year falls into place. But when you toy with the beginning, you are likely to struggle through the year.
Taking a look at the life of Daniel in the first chapter of the book, Daniel purposed in his heart from when he was brought into the palace that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the king's wine and he deliberately requested of the Prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself (Daniel 1:8). At the end of the day, Daniel and his three friends - Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego who also did the same, stood out, Their temporary discomfort brought them promotion.

My Father, my Maker, as I pray now, I receive more grace to wait on you.
