God is not limited by anything but His own words. There is no way to cause God to perform unless through the obedience of His word. The reason God doesn't speak anyhow is that he is always compelled to do whatever he says. The bible says:

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19 NKJV

God is bound to perform what he says, His word is lifted higher than even His name.
He has to move and perform ones we have faith in His word and act upon it. His word is already settled in heaven and He cannot go against it.

Until you act on God's word, you will never see God acting on your behalf.

All night long Peter had struggled for a catch but to no avail. When Jesus stopped by to preach, he was still around and perhaps had listened to Jesus whiles preaching to the multitude. Jesus knew what has happened in his business and gave him a word, he says to Peter “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch Luke 5:4 NKJV.”

The moment Peter decided to obey the word from Jesus, his unresolved issue about his business that he would have petitioned Jesus for help was answered with a great results. Though Peter had issues he would want to complain but he decided to obey the word first. He said though business was poor throughout the night and all our attempts had failed but let me give reverence to your word and see how my plea will be granted.

Obedience to the word of God is what pleases Him and when God is pleased with us He moves and perform on our behalf.

But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. Luke 5:4-6 NKJV

Always obey God's word and act upon it
