CONTENTMENT IS A LIFE STYLE
Philippians 4:11-13
vs 11- Not that i was ever in need, for i have learned how to be content with whatever i have
Contentment should be a life style for a believer because it is needed to find fulfillment.
Contentment is not about given up on life goals, dreams and aspirations nor is it about complacency. It is coming to a state when you trust God completely to provide all of your needs.
According to apostle Paul contentment is learned. This means we are not born content, we'll always want more because it is an inherent need in us.
To learn contentment, you have to draw on Gods power. Philippians 4vs13
Also learn to avoid comparisons bearing in mind that some people will have more than you do, be it blessing or problems. We are different and want different things at different point in life. Instead of looking around, look up to God. 2Cor 4 vs 17-18
Finally, learn to adjust yourself to change as they come. Remember, some circumstances you can handle and some you have no control over. Learn to trust God with your challenges, don't limit him by your circumstances.
