There should be spiritual fruit as well. We should be able to see how our faith has changed us. These are the fruits of the spirit:

(Galatians 5:22-23 NIV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, {23} gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

My father was unsaved. I don't know of anyone who knew the Bible better but did less with it than himself. He said that the fact that he did some good deeds was proof of his salvation but the Pharisees must have did good deeds too.

If we're saved we should have a love for God and a love for people too.
