No Repentance In The Grave

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Brethren in Christ, for a long time we have been hearing different messages about Christ and eternity. Everyday we hear about repentance from different means e.g Radio, T.V, Newspaper and many more ways.

The truth is that many people no longer value the preaching of repentance, in fact so many individuals prefer a place where they would hear what they like than the place where the truth really dwells. There is no better alternative to Christ eternity, the only way to eternity is repentance through Christ.

As we have read in the previous verse, man is appointed to die once and after death comes judgment. There will be no second chance after death, the only time and opportunity we have is now. All wealth and pleasures of life becomes meaningless after death, because in emptiness we came, and in same emptiness shall we return.

The word of God in (Mark 8:36) says "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" We should not work for the benefit of this world alone, but let us work for the benefit of eternity.

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money (Matthew 6:24). For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23).

Finally, we should keep on holding on our faith in Christ. Be careful so that the devil won't be able to pull you out of the faith. Those who are yet to give their life to Christ should do so now, tomorrow might be too late. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him (John 3:36). Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out...(Acts 3:19).
