Christian fellowship is the coming together of believers in Christ for a purpose. That purpose can only be centered on Jesus Christ and his followers. God's secrets are revealed when believers in one accord come together in worship and praise to God for his faithfulness unto his children.

WHY FELLOWSHIP:

When two or more persons come together in the name of the Lord, God comes down to be with them.

Matthew 18:20 (NIV)

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

You can imagine what would happen when the almighty GOD comes down in his glory in the mist of his people.

Mountains shall be lifted. Diseases shall leave the bodies. Remember the woman with issue of blood in Luke 8:43-48.

The blood flow ceased because Jesus Christ was there life.

FAITH IS BUILT.

Discouraged brethren receive encouragement during fellowship.

PRAYER OF FAITH SHALL HEAL THE SICK.

James 5:13-15 (NIV)

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

There are many benefits in having christian fellowship. No wonder HEBREWS 10:25 (NIV) Says,

not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
