Today's Message

in #christian6 years ago

Happy Sunday friends, as we know today is a very special day for christians. We all go to our various places of worship to commune with God. I will bring to you here as usual what I learnt from today's message in the church.

Our pastor that ministered today laid emphasis on having financial rest, he said that in order to enjoy it, one must be totally obedient to the commandments of God. He made an important statement and I quote;

When God's things does not matter to you, your things will not matter to Him.

I really caught something from this statement. No wonder from the word of God which is the bible, it points out that when you pursues the interest of His kingdom, He comes down to attend to your desires.

In the light of the above, it's very necessary as christians to seek the well being of God's kingdom with everything including your resources. He also made this interesting statement and I quote;

When you do what God commands, you stand to enjoy what He has promised.

So you see, the onus is laid on us to play our own part first, and see God stepping into our affairs. As we know that God's primary reason for blessing us is to be a blessing to others and towards the advancement of His kingdom.

All these boils down to the subject of obedience, being able to obey scriptural injunctions. The same scripture says that when we give, we will have a reward in return. The bible also says and I quote;

Be not deceived God is not mocked for whatsoever a man sows, the same he shall reap.

In conclusion, it's important to note here that when you have done the detects from God's words, you stand to reap the good fruits you've planted. Until I come your way again with another exciting topic, @yvo says stay blessed.

Thanks for reading.
