We are bonded with God

(Ephesians 1 : 12- 13 ; That you should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13. In whom ye also trusted , after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed , ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. ) When we accept Jesus as our personal Saviour And live for him , we are born into God's family and God puts his stamp of approval by sealing us with his Holy Spirit. No one or anything can break this bond. Jesus said no one can ever separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
