Love the Lord with all your heart
(Micah7 : 6 -7 ; For the son dishonoureth the father , the daughter riseth up against the daughter her mother , the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. 7 . therefore I will look upon the Lord: I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. ) Love your Lord your God with all your soul might and strength , and then love everyone else as your self. Man will let you down even your family, but God will never let you down. God should be first in your life and everything we do, these are the main reasons you love God above all ,because He first loved us. we should Him more than mother or father, sister or brother, wife or husband, more than son or daughter and even more than we love ourselves. this is where we should be in the Lord. When a person is really and truly born again they will understand this.
