Feeling Truly Alive

I'm often told that I'm very passionate when it comes to talking about God's Word.

Today I got to share God's Word, and I became alive. I realised as I was talking I was moving my hands, even moving my whole body, as my spirit was bubbling up inside me. My whole body came alive, my heart rate picked up, my whole inner being felt like it was effervescing. I could feel my whole being, from inside out, becoming filled with the life of God.

I feel so alive when I read God's Word, and when I get to share it with someone, I feel even more alive! From the inside out, God's Word, His joy and His truth bubble up and overflow out of me. There's nothing that compares with the exhilaration of sharing God's Word with someone.

God's Word does something to us. When we read it, when we meditate on it, when we confess it, when we sing about it, and when we share it with others...it makes us alive. Why? Because the Word itself is alive. God's Word is alive and full of power, and it's available to us all!!!

"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow, as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart." ~ Hebrews 4 v 12
