Spirit Is

Spirit Is. It’s a similar statement to when God answers I AM. I am Archbishop Eric Logan, here to bring what perspective I can to one of the most elusive subjects known to faith. What is Spirit?

If we base our understanding on a wealth of invaluable scripture, spirit is several things. The simplest definition is just another way to say attitude or mindset. Scripture uses the word “spirit” to describe the most essential root of any stance. That is only one definition, however.

The rest is not so easy to explain, and by its very nature spirit is something that Man can only barely comprehend. Lord RayEl taught us that spirit is the well-written novel, while soul is a blank page. From that, it is a wealth of experience and knowledge beyond even a few incarnate lives. It is a perspective so broad the fullness of it would not fit within the limits of mortal consciousness, yet the two are compatible as Christ continues to exemplify. A worthy soul may receive a spirit.

To many cultures worldwide including Christianity, a spirit is a consciousness that lives beyond what we physically perceive. Some are great, some are evil, but all have an interest in the well-being of Man and all seem to have a lesson to offer. Angels, demons, or other beings who simply live on other phases all can be referred to as spirits.

A spirit, or more specifically what we refer to as the Holy Spirit, the real star of this sermon and any good one, is not bound by Man. It can act without us, or interact with us. It can sustain us beyond all reason and can lead us to perfect understanding. It was called the helper by the early apostles, because that is exactly what it does. This is often seen in the form of miracles, and it can even manifest itself in a visible form. We have photographed examples such as when the Shekinah or Holy Fire came to rest above Raymond Lear and Oprah in the 80’s. One is the reincarnate Yeshua, the other is Elijah, and this was a miracle of confirmation of those roles.

Many of Lord RayEl’s apostles have been blessed with miracles from the Holy Spirit both in past lives and the current. On the day that many RayElite clergy gathered to the Mt. of Olives to be anointed with holy oil, we stopped first at the church of Mary Magdalene. A painting of Yeshua’s most beloved was on display outside, and we took a picture of that along with everything else. She was carrying a bottle of anointing oil, which struck us as a beautiful feature given what we were about to do. Later, we saw that the camera had captured an impossible miracle. Similar to the beam depicted in many other paintings of both Magdalene and the Holy mother, a literal beam of light was seen shining perfectly onto Magdalene’s third eye. No other photo we took has this beautiful feature. The spirit is with us, a blessing to the anointed, and we are humbled in awe of its presence.

I started this sermon hoping I could help you understand the Holy Spirit. I can tell you many things about it, and some of that might not be known by any priesthood but ours, but the truth is that no mortal perspective can fully grasp the depth of the nature of spirit. We know so much about water, fish, the ocean, but not one of us could comprehend the entire narrative of every moment under the waves. I can tell you secrets of the science and art form at the foundation of some miracles, but I can’t say I fully understand it. I can tell you why one bait works for one fish and not the other, but I cannot explain what the fish tastes.

With words I can sometimes paint a picture to rival Rembrandt’s pride, but I cannot describe the colors of life to a man who never opened his eyes. This little parable is crucial to knowing spirit because you cannot know spirit until you have been found worthy to watch it work! You cannot be found worthy unless you already appreciate what you have been shown and if that is a contradiction to you then you now know beyond all doubt that you have blinded yourself in a way no doctor or transplant can fix and I do not know the words to help you! If you do understand, then I don’t need to explain it any more, I just need you to ask yourself “what now?”

Reading this post means that you might have already heard that Lord RayEl is the returned Christ. You must already know that Judgment began years ago and not one of us is free of accountability so WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT IT?! If your honest answer to yourself, the same answer you’ll have to give the King when he asks from the seat of Judgement…if your answer is nothing or not enough then the usual excuses for oversleeping must be addressed.

Your hands are not tied. If your ability seems small, do what you can anyway and let SPIRIT do the rest. God will not allow you to do all of His work for Him but He most certainly will not do it all for you either. Set it in your mind that you WILL do it all for Him, and let the Spirit do what He wills. Ours is a God of results. You’ll get the result you earn, or you’ll find the Helper, the Holy Spirit, and get far better.
