The Resurrection of Jesus is a big deal guys!
The birth of Jesus is so very significant but still not as significant his death. He was born basically to die for us. His end on earth necessitated the beginning of His life here. The resurrection was the major turning point in God's agenda for man on earth. In Genesis 1 to 3, God created so much and put man in charge. But Satan came and defiled Eden. To set it all right, the ministry of Jesus became necessary to bring about restitution for mankind.

The death of Jesus was horrific but the end result was incredible. He was beaten so badly that all of his flesh was torn up. His body was as battered and bloodied up. His beard was torn off and he was nailed cruelly to the cross. What torture it was, what suffering He endured; He was beaten and his flesh torn badly. His beard was torn off and he was nailed to the cross; all of that just for me! Wow! He died and was buried and then the miracle happened on the third day! That dead, lifeless body took a deep breathe of its own accord and became brand new again! Awesome God! No angel woke him up, they definitely couldn't. Only the unfathomable power of a God could have done that. He came alive and was so new that even his followers didn't recognize Him. All they could remember was His battered body on the cross but He was prepared for their disbelief & preserved the nail holes in his palms to show them.

The resurrection power is greater than all other kinds of power. It is the power that doesn't need anything to be generated by anything (Romans 8:11). This power is available to us for miracle babies, jobs, financial increase, valuable solutions, creative ideas and so much more.

The message of the cross is the central theme of our faith. Christ came to the world to satisfy the claims of justice for lost humanity to be reconciled back to God. In every religion of the world men are making an attempt to find God but in Christianity it is God taking the initiative to look for lost humanity. To have peace with God is what guarantees the experience of the peace of God. As we are celebrating this season, the death, the burial, the resurrection and the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, it all becomes a pointer to the fact that If God can raise His son from the dead then WHAT CAN GOD NOT DO? May the power that raised Christ from the dead, revive all your dead dreams, restore your lost hopes and empower you to become all that you are ordained for in life and in destiny.
