YOUR SALVATION ATTRACTS ENVY (Everyday Rhema)

BIBLE PASSAGE: Genesis 37: 3-6

3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and very evil work.

THE MESSAGE
The package of salvation attracts envy. Once you become a child of God, you are programmed for a life of envy. Child of God don't sit in self-pity and regrets when things are not working in your favour. Rise up to the status God has ordained for you. At the New Birth, an overflow of God's blessings was apportioned to you. This was the same order of blessings that came upon Isaac such that the Philistines envied him. Sometimes, you could be the one to envy another child of God when they are blessed and you are still expecting yours.

Envy is an attribute of the carnal man that short circuits God‘s blessing. "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be conceited, provoking one another, envying one another." Envy is a work of the flesh and can rule a life that is not contented with what God has blessed him with. Rather, he wants what others have. Envy is very dangerous; it can lead to taking the life of another. If Christ is in you, there will be a change; everything about you will be new. May the Holy Spirit take over your life from today and fill you with love so that envy will have no place in your life.

Prayer Points
Jehovah Elyon, remove completely the spirit of envy from my life; deliver me in Jesus’ name!

Lord, let anyone envious of me and planning evil against me fall in their plot in Jesus' name!

Fire of the Holy Ghost consume anyone or group of people envying my destiny for evil purposes!

My King, by Your mercy help me, my family members and all I come in contact with, to make it to Eternity with You in Jesus‘ name!

Prophetic Declaration of the day: I cancel the spirit of envy in your life right now!
