MYSTERY OF INIQUITY

MYSTERY is something which is not understandable, it is something of which little is known. Mystery is a certain knowledge withheld by certain kinds of people. It is a secret that can't be explained to somebody who does not belong to a group of people who knows and shares it.
INIQUITY on the other hand is lawlessness wickedness or evil deed.
There are so many mysteries in the word of God.

Below are some scriptures to open our understanding

Matthew 13:11 King James Version (KJV)
"He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given."
The kingdom of God here is a mystery given to some people.

Romans 16:25 King James Version (KJV)
"Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began."
Salvation of Jesus Christ in this passage is also a mystery.

1 Corinthians 2:7 King James Version (KJV)
"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory"
The wisdom of God is also called a mystery.

1 Corinthians 15:51 King James Version (KJV)
"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed."
The resurrection of Jesus remains a mystery, it is real and some people will not die before rapture.

1 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Godliness is a mystery.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 King James Version (KJV)
"For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way."
This is the focus of this message.

INIQUITY is already at work in the lives of people in the world but someone is withholding it from causing havoc on people.
But a time will come when the person withholding iniquity will let it go.
That person withholding it is the HOLY SPIRIT. When rapture takes place and all the redeemed of the Lord have departed from this adulterous and sinful world then the unexplainable consequences of iniquity will be let loosed.
In this world right now, there is a level of peace enjoyed everywhere due to the high level of ceaseless and fervent prayers of Christians.
The Bible says that the mystery of iniquity is already at work. Iniquity does not work on trees, stones, lands but on humans.
The book of psalm tells us
"Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me"
For example you see a child telling lies that you can't imagine, it's because the vice of lying comes naturally because they are of human nature. They pick this bad habit effortlessly. This issue takes its root in the mystery of iniquity.

Here's a story to enlighten our understanding ;
God does not consider one's ignorance as an excuse for exemption from his divine punishment ; ignorance is not an excuse before God.
" A manager worked in a company were cosmetics were produced and when he became a born again he said he was a satanist who aborted babies to produce lipsticks and other kinds of cosmetics.
The truth here is all women who buys and use the products here has become an eater of flesh and drinker of blood without knowing it,though ignorant of what is used in making the lipsticks".
Iniquity is as mysterious as the development of a child in the womb of his/her mother."

• JEALOUSY
  Jealousy happens when somebody has something that you like but you do not have it, so you become envious of him.
  It is a terrible sin of anger and unhappiness.

• UNBELIEF
  This happens when you refuse to believe in God's ability to do the impossible. Unbelief is responsible for doubting the fulfilment of the abundant promises of God for his people. It's a sad thing to say many will not enter God's rest because of unbelief.

• PRIDE
  People with pride derive evil fulfilment in themselves and accomplishments. They attribute their performance to their skills.

• COMPLAINING

Complaining is the head of worry. People who complain cannot rely on God for anything and it is a bad attitude. This character in a person destroys all principles of faith and as long as God is concerned anyone who complains/worry is a sinner to him. When the children of Israel complained against God. God got angry against them.

• SPIRITUAL DEPRESSION
  When you don't become what you want to become and you see someone who is well-to-do by God and you envy such person to a terrible extent that you envy them and grudge against God for not making you become what you want to become.
  Such people become depressed therefore keeping God away from their lives on a permanent or temporary basis.

• IMPATIENCE
  The Bible says that faith and Godly patience are the divine tools with which one can possess or inherit God's numberless promises.
  It is worthy to note that only few people possess the virtue of patience.
  To be impatient with God is a sin against him.

• ADULTERY
  This terrible sin makes God disregard most people as a rebellious souls. Adultery is found in sexual immorality and also in the evil and wicked act of replacing God with something else.

---

• DISCOURAGEMENT
  Discouragement in all ramification is a sin against God and attracts God's wrath.

---

Stay away from iniquity and it shall not manipulate you in Jesus name. If you decide to dwell in iniquity you may end up unraptured.

PRAYER POINT

• Chain of iniquity, break, in the name of Jesus.

• All the poison that iniquity has introduced into my body and blood, go out , in the name of Jesus.

---

• All the visible spiritual loads iniquity has introduced into my life, be roasted, in the name of Jesus.

---

• Every good thing that iniquity has stolen in my life be restored, in the name of Jesus.

---

• All stubborn pursuers that iniquity has attaches to my life,be roasted in the name of Jesus.
