Turn away from evil
Good morning!
Do you risk trying to sound wise about pretty much any topic but most of all about being a Christian?
I am reminded at least a dozen times a week that I'm the least wise when it comes to understanding and putting into action, the words of JESUS.
I have guilty of looking away from the homeless person asking for money, or of having a sharp tongue or haughty spirit. Clearly these things are not of GOD and I am convicted when it happens but that wasn't always the case.
Today when I catch myself puffing up about what I know instead of building up my brother or sister, the Holy Spirit taps me on the shoulder and reminds me that I am a child of GOD and still a babe at that!
Fear of the LORD, love the LORD your GOD!
