A War Zone – 1 Corinthians 10:12-13
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
If you have fallen to a sin, let’s call it like it is… the Devil didn’t make you do it.
We’re human. We have a flesh that wants to stray and enjoy sin. It’s a constant battle. So don’t let yourself get relaxed in the fight. We have to be on high alert 24/7.
But we are not alone in this war. Everything we are struggling with and fighting against, our brothers and sisters around the world are going through the same conflicts. What’s even better is that we know YHWH will not let us be tempted beyond our capacity to overcome. He will always make a way for us to stand up under the pressure.
The bottom line here… Don’t forget what we’re in. … A War Zone.

This is a very awesone promise! I have found that it is not only important to be on guard but to practice for upcoming battles before they happen. Learn what your weak spots are then study the word to learn what is required so that you can recall those verses when you need them or the temptation is stronger. Also remenber to thank the father for the opportunity to overcome the obstacle in front of you. Just remember to never give up. Challenges build our faith and endurance. Successfully overcoming also feels really good.

I want to say that you put that very well, just like a military trains for the real battle we as believers must do the same! The more we train the more equip we will be!
Howdy sir simms50! Another great word and promise, in order to overcome we have to stay strong in faith. I suppose there's no one alive who doesn't face a daily battle with some type of temptation.
