Gracious Words
There are a lot of misunderstandings arising between friends, families, relatives, schoolmates, workmates, and even neighbors. That's due to our tongues which expresses words that may hurt them. By not thinking before speaking up, it can possible affect our relationship with them.
That's why we are encourage to put some salt in our speech. It is not a literal salt, but it's about speaking with tastefulness, understanding, and sympathy. With gracious words, we can maintain our relationship with them. We can also avoid misunderstandings. That's why we are encouraged to speak with gracious words because it is advantageous for all of us.
