THE PEACE OF GOD

 "Peace  I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,  give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be  afraid." John: 14-27

Most of us here will agree that the way to experience inner peace is by having Jesus in our life. I know, just like me, you too encountered Jesus during the most troubled times of your life and when you try to reflect back on the that very day of accepting Him as your Savior and Lord you suddenly felt an extra ordinary peace that run down deep within your soul. Peace that helps you think calmly even in midst of tragedy and helpless situation. Peace that brought enlightenment to the darkest alley of your inner most being. My friend, that is the peace of Jesus residing and ruling in your hearts. He intentionally place it there at the center of heart so that you may not grow weary and restless all the days of your life. Any one who find Jesus, find peace...

AT PEACE IN THE LORD

On the eve of the execution of Christian martyr Nicholas Ridley  (1500-1555), his brother offered to stay with him in the prison to be of  comfort. Ridley declined, saying that he planned to sleep as soundly as  usual. Because he knew the peace of Jesus, he could rest in his Lord. The next morning, Ridley told a fellow Christian who was also  being executed, "Be of good heart, brother, for God will either assuage  the fury of the flame, or else strengthen us to abide it." Then they  knelt and prayed by the stake and, after a brief conversation, were  burned to death for their faith. 

Jesus knew that the world we are living is a place of trouble, chaos, anxiety, pain and evilness. He also knew that while we are waiting for His second coming our hearts maybe filled with trouble and sadness and while our spirit will groaning. So Jesus leave His peace with us, peace that the world do not know and do not have. Only those people belonging to Christ can stand the cruelty of this world--because we have the peace of God and we are at peace in Him.

Today, do not hardened your heart by making peace with God. Having a right relationship with Him through Chris Jesus our Lord will bring freedom to your soul. - Shalom!
