THE POTENCY OF YOUR PRAISE, WORSHIP AND THANKSGIVING
Acts 16:25 "But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them."
After being arrested for the sake of the gospel and being flogged mercilessly, I'm sure every believer who knows better than being bitter towards God and complaining would choose to pray. Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns for all to hear. And there was an earthquake. The earthquake in the prison wasn't God's rescue plan. This is because, after the earthquake, when everyone could have escaped, they stayed. God caused the magistrates to release them the next morning. Why then the earthquake? Paul and Silas' prayers and singing had charged the atmosphere, and neither the foundations of the prison, nor their shackles could match the power released (Also see 2 Chronicles 20).
Lets learn to pray.
if prayer is all that christians have then we shouldn't joke with prayers though we have praises,hymns and many more but prayer is also the key because the Bible said elisha prayed to heaven for not rain to come down and indeed i was done as he prayed for but the bible didn't say praises or hymns did that we get to pray harder
