Isaiah 8
One thing that catch my thinking is the verse “The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.”
This verse reminded me of being loyal to God’s command. Being in the sinful world, I don’t really fear God that much. Sometime not even fear of doing wrong and bearing the consequences and punishments from God. I am too relying of the fact that God is love and God will forgive everything that I do wrong.
Bearing in mind, I should be really serious about not to sin, for the fact that his punish to his people are real, shown in the verse 9 - 10. People who do not listen of follow him will be shattered and broken. No matter what you do, either strap on your armor or take counsel together. If it is against God, none will stand.
So, What are your thought about the passage ?
