RAISING A DEAD MAN “LAZARUS COME FORTH".

John 11:38-44 (NIV)

38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.

39 “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”

40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.

42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!

”44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

According to medical experts, it takes a clinical dead body 4 -6 minutes to be biologically dead. When a body attained biological death, there is nothing human experts can do about it. A hopeless condition they said. That body is only good for the grave.

Here in our text from the book of John 11, an account of what took place in Bethany. A man called Lazarus was confirmed dead, leaving two sisters; Mary and Martha.

When Lazarus was sick, they sent for Jesus Christ; their friend. The reason for sending for Him was not stated but He did not respond promptly but assured them that His sickness was not unto death, but a means of showing God’s glory. vs. 4. Did you get that?

Finally, the man Lazarus not only died clinically but died biologically and was confirmed and buried. Two days later, this man whose Hebrew name is Yeshua and the English call Him Jesus the Christ set out with His disciples to Bethany, a two day’s journey.

By the time they got there brother Lazarus was dead four days before and buried. This humanly speaking made the matter worse. It would have been easier to heal the sick than to raise the dead Martha reasoned. So I reasoned too.

Impossibility with human is a possibility with God

The dead body of Lazarus was odorous already, making any help impossible. However, Yeshua, Jesus Christ said to them, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

Remember Yeshua the Christ proclaimed from the beginning that Lazarus was not sick unto death but the God’s glory would be made out of it. YOU GET THIS?

Is your own situation worse than this, child of God? Only if you believe, you SHALL see the the Glory of YAHUWAH.

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39 (KJV)

He who spoke the wild wind and there was PEACE shall yet speak again in your case today. HE IS STILL DOING THE SAME TODAY.

“LAZARUS COME FORTH”, His voice thundered.

The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.

Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him. Mark 4:41 (KJV)

What kind of a man is that even the Power of Death is subject to him?

His mane is JESUS THE CHRIST, the same yesterday today and forever.

ONLY HIM CAN DO WHAT NO MAN, NO GOVERNMENT, NO SCIENTIST, NO
THEOLOGIANS CAN DO
