OPERATION ZIGLAG AND DAVID'S EXPERIENCE.

And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;

And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.

Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:1-6 (KJV)

When David was faced with distressing moments, No family member to confide in, friends deserted him. Servants ganged up against him.

All that he labored for in life consumed by enemy fire. His wives and children kidnapped.
The where about of All the members of his clan unknown. It was like heaven had closed up on him.

When there was no pastor to pray or conduct a night vigil. Help is not coming though expected.
You have been a blessing to many and expected them to come around you and No one cares.

Dear friend, listen to what David did.

"......but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God"

Hear David again.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121: 1-2 (KJV)

Look up friend, thats where help will come from. Form God maker of all things. He knows how to fix it up for you.

Dont be despondent brother. Your Ziglag may bring about your lifting. It was for David. That God of David is your GOD. Dont give up.
