HOW TO HEAR GOD AND BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE ON PLANET EARTH. PART 1

Humanity need to have a better understanding that the universe in which he lives, was created by God and that he did not choose to come into this world and neither does he know, when or how he got to planet earth. He just found himself in this place called planet earth, as a child and as he was growing, the consciousness of his abode where, coming upon him gradually and becoming clearer as he grow older. Therefore for him to live successfully on this planet called earth. It is of utmost importance, for him to constantly receive instructions and guidance for a successful living, from GOD the omnipotent creator of the heaven and earth.
Many a life would have been saved, if they had known how to receive guidance and instructions from GOD the creator of the universe. Many lives in the grave today, would have been alive if they had received guidance from GOD the all knowing one. And would not have been sent to their early grave. They would have still been alive doing great exploit in their chosen field or career on earth.
HOW TO HEAR FROM GOD
John 10:27
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
God is always speaking to us, just like a Father will always communicate with his children. But many of us are not paying attention. Our mind is so occupied with many things, that are blocking our spiritual ears to hear God whenever He speaks to us.

Some of the things that prevent us from hearing God are as follows:
Cares of this world.
When you allow your heart to be occupied by problems and challenges you are facing.
When you are depressed.
When you worry about everything.
When you are afraid and filled with fear. Particularly, fear of the unknown.
When you concentrate more on yourself and pay more attention to how you look, talk, act and do all things.
When you place more value on people's opinion about you.
When you zero your mind that God can only speak to you through an audible voice.

All these will choke our spiritual ear path and no matter how loud the voice of God is, you can never hear. If you really desire to hear God clearly, you have to watch out for all the distractions above and avoid them.
Prayer which is one of the means by which we talk to God, should be a two way communication. That means, after talking to your Father, He also have something to say to you concerning your request or petitions.

GOD NOW DWELL IN US
God said;
"..for ye are the temple of the living God, as God has said, i will dwell in them, i will walk in them, i will be their God and they shall be my people." 2Cor 6:16

If God dwell and live in the inside of us. Then, it must be ignorance and lack of understanding that will make anyone, expect God to speak from the outside.
By outside i mean hearing God like someone is in front of you or beside you talking to you. And this is the method, many believe God speaks and so will prefer to hear through that means. But God is in the inside of you.

When you are not yet born again and God realized that the way your life is going on, In the path of destruction. And that, it will take an encounter with Him to bring you back on track. He can choose to speak to you and you will hear His audible voice. That's because you are still living in realm of the senses. That means, it is when you see, hear, feel, taste or touch before you believe. That was exactly what happens to Paul on his way to Damascus in Act 9:1-6.
There are also some rare cases where God will speak to you and you will hear His audible voice. These are for people in the category of Thomas.
I hope you remember what Jesus told Thomas in John 20:29
"Thomas because thou hath seen me thou hath believed, Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed"
These category of people, only believe when it makes sense. I.e. It will be tested in the laboratory of their senses. If it makes sense they believe, if it does not make sense, they discard it. God will then, go the extra mile of speaking with an audible voice.
