DON'T EVER EXPECT GOD TO DO WHAT HE HAS ALREADY EMPOWER YOU TO DO

Many Christian believers are expecting God and Christ to do what Christ has already empowered them to do.
Listen! Christ has done all that He needs to do about your Salvation, Spiritual battles, Healing, Blessing, Prosperity, Joy, Peace, Glory etc. That's why He is now seated, at the right hand of God, in majesty on high in glory. (Heb1:3)
So if you are expecting Christ to come and fight your battles now, or help you resist the devil or help you speak to your mountain at this present dispensation.
I am sorry to announce to you, that, you will not only be disappointed, you may have to wait till God's kingdom come. Or wait till eternity.
This is one of the cause or reason why many believers are frustrated in the place of prayer.
Thinking: "Why am i not getting response from God concerning this request, i have even quoted all necessary scriptures"
We have said in the previous lectures, that the kingdom of God works on principles. And you need to know and understand those principles.
First and foremost, your expectation is wrong (i.e. expecting God to do what you are suppose to do). And expectations plays a majour role in prayer.
Secondly. There Is also the problem of ignorance.
God lamented in Hosea 4:6 and said;
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."
God's own people, who are suppose to know are the one actually perishing. And God could not but lament.
Despite the fact that God made every available avenue for them, to learn and become more knowledgeable in Him, and how His kingdom works and been run.
Yet they are destroyed.
Do you know that, there are thousands of soul in the grave, who could have been alive today doing great exploit for God, in His kingdom, if only they have receive instructions that will bring life and quicken them and make them live..
But ignorance sent so many to their early grave.
Proverb 3:1-2 Says;
“My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.”
And Proverb 4:13 says;
"Take fast hold on instructions: let her not go; keep her:for she is thy life"
We need to understand the principles of God's Kingdom. God will never violates His own words. God is too faithful to His words to violate them.
Know this; that Christ will never do, what He has commanded you to do.
If you like, cry and weep for as long as you can. It will not move Him to violate His own words. God is too faithful to His words.
Even if Christ wants to do what He ask you to do. He will not be able to.
Why?
He has already come in human form (in the body of Jesus) to do all that needs to be done.
So if He is to now do, what He commanded you to do. That means He has to come as human again to earth.
And that is not possible.
Because now, as we speak, He dwell as Holy Spirit in all believers, empowering us to do, what He has commanded us to do.
Philipians 2:13 says;
”For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
Philipian 4:13 also says;
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Let Us Look At Examples In The Scriptures.
We read in James 4:7
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you"
In this scripture we are given a command and instruction. But it is so sadden, that many believers disobey this command and instructions.
Deuteronomy 28:1 says;
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments….”
You hear them pray like this:
" Oluwa bami koju ja sesu"
That's in yoruba, a Nigerian language.
Meaning "Lord help me resist the devil"
But it was clearly stated in that scripture that, you (the beliver) has to first submit yourself to God and after that go ahead and resist the devil by yourself.
One thing I am so confident about and that is so certain is that, Christ will never ask you to do, what he has not empower you to do.
Christ knew He has empower us as believers, to resist the devil. That was why He said so.
All you need to do is to begin to exercise your authority.
Don't forget that;
We've got the power and authority!
Another similar scripture is in Mark 11:23
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."
Jesus did not say "If I say" or "If God say"
“Whoever” means anybody empowered to do so.
So if you are waiting for God or Jesus to help you speak to your mountain. You may have to wait for years or even the rest of your life and the mountain will remain there.
It is not God's fault, but your ignorance and choice.
Life is all about making choices, whether you are conscious of it or not.
You just have to take authority over that mountain and speak to it to move.
Listen.
Your mountain respond more to your own voice than any other voice, and it is only waiting to hear you speak.
Once you speak, the power of God moves the mountain.
So you need to understand that, as part of God's kingdom principles, God has His own role to play. And you as a believer have your own responsibilies (role) to also play.
Begin to take responsibility now!
To enforce and receive your Victory, Healing, Peace, Joy, Blessing etc. IN JESUS NAME.
TO GOD ALONE BE ALLTHE GLORY

I find I'm called to do things that I am not empowered to do, if I'm not fully reliant to God i find myself back slidding. I have accomplished so much that i would not have been able to do without Him!
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 10:19 (KJV) The power is within every believer in Christ Jesus. Amen.
I am a long time Christian I do believe what you say, but I have difficulty to understand how it works. I like what you said here,
"Listen.
Your mountain respond more to your own voice than any other voice, and it is only waiting to hear you speak.
Once you speak, the power of God moves the mountain.
So you need to understand that, as part of God's kingdom principles, God has His own role to play. And you as a believer have your own responsibilies (role) to also play."
Like when we pray for healing. We really believe that God can heal us, but it just don't happen. Then I found it difficult to take this authority that Jesus gave us and it made me doubt this principle afterwards, not when I was praying.
