MEMORY VERSE
Many seek the ruler’s favour, but every man’s judgment cometh from the LORD. Proverbs 29:26

Esther 5:1-3
Our Bible text takes a look at the story of Esther, who received divine favour. From the story of Esther, we can learn some things on divine favour. Esther put on a royal apparel and stood in the inner court of the palace before she received divine favour. The question is "why was she dressed in a royal apparel?" Apart from the law that she cannot come before the king uninvited, it would also have been rude for the King's wife to go before the king in her nightwear or apron. Today, what our mother put on as underwears are what some wear to parties, not excluding their workplaces. No wonder driven favour is alien to many of them. It's an adage that the way you dress is the way you are addressed.
For you to be to receive divine favour from God, you need to put on your royal apparel of righteousness which you are given by Jesus Christ when you receive salvation (Revelation 1:5-6, 19:8). You will also notice that when the king saw Esther, the sight of her produced divine favour, as he then held out of her the golden scepter that he was holding. When your time of favour comes, the first thing is that you will know be attention. I pray my God will look in your direction and identify you for His favour in Jesus' name. In Genesis 18: 1-5, Abraham was just relaxing in front of his tent, when favour located him. After showing hospitality, the angels wiped off their tears for so many years in Genesis 18:10
“…I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life, and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son….”
The Lord will cause His favour make a declaration that will take away your tears in Jesus' name. In our memory verse, it is clear that the favour Queen Esther enjoyed was divine in nature.
Indeed, before she appears before the king, she had first seen God's favour, and this came to pass in her life. Esther 4:16 says:
“Go gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.”
I therefore urge you to seek God's favour and stop cutting corners. Live a life that will please One who has the power to favour, and you will not be denied your right in Jesus' name
PRAYER
Father, please send help to those who must favor me today and make them give unto me all the blessings you have kept in your custody in Jesus' name
