From Bondage to Inheritance.
Hello Everyone,
Today's study is taking from the book of the Joshua 2:1-21. Joshua is the leader that took over after the death of Moses.
Introduction
The journey of life are filled with uncertainties, adversities and difficulties. However, one thing is sure, God's unfailing presence is guaranteed as we hear His voice and obey His instructions. Yet, along the way, we come across people who should be assisted to see the grace and glory of God. I want you to know that God is ever present with you and you carry His presence with you everywhere you go (Joshua 1:1-8). Finally, if God is using you, you need to know that:
Leaders go, leaders come, Moses has gone, Joshua has gone and many others and now it's you. You won't live in that position forever. Make hay while the sun shines.
Only God is indispensable. He has raised Joshua after Moses and many more. Don't forget.
Therefore, know God and see God in every member and leaders under you. Hebrew 13:3-5.
Let's see the leadership of Joshua and some good moments in his leading position:
There are some things God would want you to do for yourself instead calling Him all the time.
The Bible recorded that Joshua sent spies to Jericho which in my opinion is a military strategy today. This whole essence is to secure information.
God will give you revelation from remarkable words but you need also wisdom to interpret. God will not do for you what He has equipped you to do for yourself.
As a leader learn to be alone and listen to God in other for you to possess your possessions because Od is ever ready to talk to you but the distraction of this word is the only stunning block to hearing God's voice on a daily basis.
In conclusion
Even while being faced with challenges on the way to posses your inheritance, we still need to be a source of blessing to others. Stand firm in the faith of what you believe, remain unshakable, fined tuned and ready to attack the attacker which is the Devil of this world. He has failed and he will forever remain a failure. He is only looking for people that will be drag to hell with him.
