I'm not sure this preacher got it completely correct. The Torah is followed by Gods chosen ones and is as relevant today as it was before the coming of Christ.
You can try to keep the Torah if you want. Maybe start by building the temple in Jerusalem as more than 30% of the commandments in the Torah depend on the existence of the temple. Gotta wonder why God has let the temple to be destroyed though for almost 2000 years now.
