THE SECRET PATH TO FINDING GOD
After coming to the knowledge of the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ our Lord, it is the utmost desire of God that we get deeper in our walk with him. In order to experience a deeper dimension of God's presence, our soul must hunger and thirst for God in the same way a deer pants for the safety and sustenance of water. Only a small percentage of believers ever really experience this kind of intimacy with God because of the measures and sacrifice attached to it
Wholehearted pursuit of God involves complete, earnest commitment to finding God despite the sacrifices involved. Sometimes, the seeking time is a silent time; where we may have no feeling that God is really there or that he hears us. But we still persist by believing by faith that He is with us and hears us irrespective of how we feel.
God is not far from us; but He desires that we draw closer to Him. He is ever ready to reveal Himself to as many who diligently seek Him. Seeking God is engineered by the love of God in our hearts. Only the humble and contrite in heart can find God because they will seek Him wholeheartedly. Scripture says God resists the proud and give grace to the humble (James 4:6)
If we are to find God, we must begin with a deep seated and wholehearted search for that missing element of the true knowledge of God that seems to have cluded our generation. This search will take a form of prayer quest that cries to God with uplifted voice, while it seeks and searches for genuine knowledge of Jesus Christ in the word of God.
No man ever sought God wholeheartedly and didn't find Him. It is time to stop pursuing mundane things of this world and give our live to total and wholehearted pursuit of Jesus and His interest. There is grace from on high that God longs to give to us when we seek Him with the whole of our hearts
CONCLUSION
The moment a man gets satisfied with his attainment in God and relaxes, he begins to backslide. There is more to God every day; the more we long to know Him, the more we long to know Him. Our hunger and thirst keeps going deeper. To find God, we must daily and consistently pursue Him wholeheartedly.
