Never Consumed

We have in the time past wondered why there is so much trouble that one will have to wriggle out to achieve anything meaningful.

The answer has always been that we live in a fallen world on its way to total redemption. Before that destiny is achieved, trying situations will not go away. However, it is not all about the troubles you face but your RESPONSE TO THEM.

You must know that according to scripture, trouble is a common denominator among men.

Let's see that together in:

1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Obviously, all men face trouble and so do believers. Our assurance as believers is that in the midst of the turmoil ,God will NAVIGATE AN ESCAPE ROUTE for our safety.

No matter the intensity of the opposition, persecution or resistance you encounter as a child of God in this world, never forget that YOU CAN NEVER BE CONSUMED BY THEM. This is God's guarantee.

Turn with me again to:

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; [9] Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed."

Clearly, we are indestructible. Nothing can send us out of this world (outside God's will) if we want to remain here because:

....in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.(Romans 8:37).
