Daily Christian Nuggets : He is not weak

Patience doesn't equate weakness. Over the years many have remained perplexed over why God allows the wicked to continue in their wicked ways without judgment.

Some have alleged that He is weak ; others say He is unfair.

The Bible remains the only valid description of God and His personality .It explains the "why" and "what " about God.

Turn with me to:

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

The Bible reveals that God is only been patient. The reason is because He doesn't want any of us to be destroyed.

His desire is for all of humanity to attain everlasting life. Gladly ,He will not be patient forever. It is therefore risky to continue living recklessly thinking that God will do nothing just He hasn't done to those ahead.

The next verse of the above scripture warns as follows:

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

A day cometh where the anger of God will be unleash on the wicked and all those who reject Jesus as Savior. You don't have to be numbered amongst them.

That is why the Bible advises that we :

2 Peter 3:14 :
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless."

The consequences of sin are still very much present with us today . We can however seek exclusion by been in Jesus and doing the Father's Will. Alleluia!!
