Trust in the Lord.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV
God is said to doing new things in our lives but it is now left for us to decide if we are still going to look on the old things that hurt us or we are going look on God and trust wholly on him.
When we look on the old things we are actually withholding God from doing that which he has set out to do in our lives.
But when we look ahead it shows total dependence and trust on God. And you know what when you put your trust on God he would never fail. This one reason the psalmist testified the lord as his shepherd because he has tasted of the lord's goodness and his faithfulness.
