RE: Sunday thoughts on a Saturday: Understanding Deception
In my past I've been lied to, cheated on, stolen from, teased, bullied, and harassed. Knowing how terrible that feels, I could never behave in such a manner. Instead, I try to be a better person because of those experiences. And while I don't ascribe to any one religion, I have a powerful faith and belief in God and the universe - and a practice of doing the right thing all the time.
There is a part of me that feels very plain too and I'm content with that because I am neither better or worse than anyone else. I am happy to be plain me.
You, unlike the the character in the story, may be plain but do not allow it to make you insignificant. You know your worth and value it. You my friend will not fall into the temptation of desire. Thanks for stopping by :)
