When we say we believe, what does it involved?

The great commission

Recently the lord began to lay this burden afresh in my heart concerning the burden of the Lord, seeing that we’ve come a long way where men believe that all that God requires from us is to be involved in religion and religious activities like going to church buildings and masses at every now and then.

But how many really understand the implication of believing in God and following Christ Jesus? Recently I’ve been talking on perseverance in prayers asking the lord of harvest to send laborers into his harvest, many didn’t know that it’s already the time of harvest!

The calling of God upon the elects is far beyond going to church building at a particular time and hours and then switch again to our personal affairs till the next Sunday, what is your stake in the kingdom of God, for me I don’t have any other life to live, the spirit of God in me has made it in a way that I can not live a day without a thought of this kingdom and the concerns of the Lord.
And no one can take this honor upon himself because our confidence is not in ourselves but in God who has made us vessels for him.

Let’s read something from the book of Romans 10:13-15;

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

BELIEVING IN RELIGION IS NOT ACTUALLY BELIEVING IN GOD

Many are comfortable to go to church activities as outlined by their fellow men without really submitting to the spirit of God to lead them through the very mind of God daily, how shall they believe and understand these things if there is no preacher?

It doesn’t stop at having preachers, but the preachers must be sent by God! There are many preachers out there, many of them were called by their stomachs, many are called by their family religious beliefs, you see parents pushing their children to becoming man made priests.

But still, the lord has his few sent laborers in his field, why are they few? Because many have not realize the urgency in the spirit and therefore ‘believers’ are not praying and asking God for laborers.

WE MUST ASK GOD TO SEND LABORERS

There are so many priests in the world even before God sent his son Jesus to come and do his father’s business, there are also many priests and clergymen in the world before Jesus gave out his spirit upon his disciples for the great commission which is now extended to us in our own generation.

How are you involved in this kingdom business, how serious are you taking it upon yourself concerning the business of our father, don’t you know that it’s a great honor and privilege that our father involved us in his business?

May you become one of the sent laborers from God. Amen.
